Frequently questions
Does laser hair removal hurt? What does it feel like?
Most clients describe it as quick warm pulses or small “rubber-band snaps.” Sensation varies by area (underarms/bikini can feel stronger), hair thickness, sensitivity, and skin type. We customize settings to your skin and comfort level and use cooling to help keep treatments comfortable and safe.
How many sessions will I need and how often should I come in?
Most people need about 6–10 sessions, typically spaced 4–8 weeks apart depending on the area. Many clients notice a reduction after 2–3 sessions, but best results come from completing the full series because laser targets hair best during the active growth phase. Maintenance sessions may be recommended as needed.
What should I do before and after a laser hair removal appointment?
Before: Avoid sun/tanning, stop waxing or plucking (shaving is okay), and arrive with the area shaved (ideally 12–24 hours before).
After: Moisturize, avoid intense heat (hot showers, sauna, heavy workouts) for 24–48 hours, skip harsh exfoliation for a few days, and use SPF on any treated areas exposed to sunlight.
Which facial is best for dark spots, pores, and texture if I have oily or sensitive skin?
For oily or sensitive skin with dark spots, enlarged pores, and texture, we typically recommend a plan that combines deep cleansing, barrier support, and gentle brightening. Depending on your skin’s tolerance and whether acne is active, your treatment may include mild exfoliation (enzyme or low-strength acids), targeted brightening steps, and LED to calm redness. We personalize your facial after a skin assessment to maximize results while minimizing irritation.
